Object Emitter Speed Texture on Alembic?

Create a plane in RF, turn it into an object emitter, apply texture to speed, works great.

Import alembic plane, animated, turn into object emitter, apply texture to speed, it ignores texture.

Can this be fixed?

Re: Recommended scene settings for GPU

Hi dmayer, I guess you have the drivers for Open CL 1.1 to work with that graphic card. I can't see that info in the web you indicated below. RF will use the GPU if you have the Open CL 1.1 drivers only. Also, keep in mind that gpu likes the particles. You won't see any difference if you have few p...

Recommended scene settings for GPU

Hello, Testing with RF2013 here and having a hard time noticing any GPU usage even when it is enabled. The documents say set sampling to dense and a hight particle per cell, but still not any real activity on GPU. Does anyone have a simple scene that really taxes the GPU? Or recommened settings? I'd...

Re: RealFlow 2013 technology preview at FMX!

Hello, despite the fact that most of the GPUs nowadays support double precision we decided to do single precision for compatibility with all GPUs, new ones and old ones. It doesn't affect the simulation at all. It is OpenCL, in the last slide we gave some implementation bits. Memory could be an iss...

Any details on the GPU support in RF 2013?

Is it primarily single or double precision ops? OpenCL or CUDA? Memory an issue? How about scaling across GPUs?

Would be helpful in selecting hardware.

Ping. Hoping for some details!
