Re: sd time ofset in 3dsmax
Hi, Alembic is the right solution, very simple to chose at what frame the simulation should start in 3dsmax. I was missing the Stitch Tool to create one file from the sequence, now I know ... Only problem with Alembic the frame rate has to be the same in RF and 3dsmax. if RF-frame-rate > 3dsmax-fram...

Re: sd time ofset in 3dsmax
Hi Luis, The soft-body simulation is done in realflow and exported to 3dsmax in sd file. (to be sure my topic is understood) Translating (moving) Keyframes in the 3dsmax time line doesn't offset the soft-body deformation. I think the "vertex animation" (deformation) isn't stored in kf because it is ...

Re: interpenetrating softbodies
Hi, Thanks for your analyzing. The "Reset transformation" didn't solve the problem here on my workstation... There was an other problem in addition. I had to delete the sd imported objects and re-import them to have the simulation work properly. The tree interpenetrating soft-bodies were always disc...

sd time ofset in 3dsmax
Hi, I have simulated a Soft-Body deformation in Realflow starting at frame 0, exporting it in a sd file. I would like this animation/deformation to start at frame 1060 in 3dsmax but of course it starts at frame 0 (as in Realflow). Is there a way to create a time offset to it ? I've tried simulating ...

simulation with locked rotation
Hi,
A rigid body is falling into a hybido viscous fluid.
I'd like to simulate the Rigid body position animation (mainly z) but lock/forbid any rotation.
(the RB falls but don't rotate)
Is there a simple way to do that ?
Thanks

How do I transfer it to you ?
Thanks

interpenetrating softbodies
Hi, I'm simulating soft-bodies dynamics in a rigid-body container. Collisions between soft-bodies and the rigid body are fine. But soft_bodies (from sd import) keep interpenetrating whatever fps (even very high), Caronte Quality (max) and Soft-body>resolution I use. I also tried to override "Charact...
