nBinary Loader Frame Range

is there a way to increase the frame range of a sequence in an nBinary Loader. I needed to sim more frames, but I don't see any way to increase the range in the loader. I guess I need to delete the sequence and recreate. I wish there was a reload button.

Re: Initial State ...

Florian ... thanks !!!!!!! I ended up saving the initial state. Creating a new scene that used the initial state. Simulating 2 frames. Then submitting to the Job Manager via the Job manager ... NOT the sendscene command. In the Job manager submission I stated the start frame as frame 2, use cache. s...

Initial State ...

Hey Guys,

I am trying submit a job to a remote node using the job manager. It gets submitted no problem ... the problem is that its ignoring that fact that the scene has an initial state.

Thoughts ?

I am using Job Manager build ... 1.1.1.00070

Thanks

M

Re: RF Threading with new Intel i7 3930K CPU/ Win7x64

I have seen this behavior on our new DUAL XEON E5-2680 machines as well. Although not consistently ... I was actually curious if hyperthreading is slowing the machine down ... any thoughts ?

late here as well ... NODES > solo property pages with lists ... you can see the relationships much better.

CPU Configuratiion

We just got new workstations here

DUAL XEON E5-2680 that total 16 Cores without hyperthreading. My question is ... will hyperthreading slow down or speed up Realflow ?

Thanks,

Michael

Re: Scripted Melt Attempt

I am not sure I understand what you are getting at =/. I am slowly decreasing my search radius using an animated null .. the reason I am doing this is so as the particles melt my test for fewer neighbors gets slowly smaller. I found that unless I reduce my radius in the getneighbors call the particl...

Re: Scripted Melt Attempt

Here is my latest version Melt V2 Still suffering from icebergs being released rather than a nice steady melt. I think this is because a lot of my particles might be the same distance from each other. I have to think about this ... any help would be great. Also ... I need to figure out how to make p...

Re: Scripted Melt Attempt

Thanks for the reply ... here is where I am at... http://www.shimmerstudios.com/Public/melt_v1b.mov There are a few things that I still need to figure out ... 1) i am adjusting the search radius in the getneighbors() call by using the y value of an animated null. At some point there is a critical va...

Scripted Melt Attempt

Hey Guys ... so I am jumping on the scripted melt bandwagon ... I am must be having a brain freeze because my script seems to release a bunch of particles in the first few frames and then stops ... so the internal particles of the point cloud are remaining un-melted.
