how to increase speed for which an obj gets filled with liquid
Hi, I'm working on a simulation where a liquid flows inside a pipe and falls inside a receiver tank, which then gets completely filled with the liquid. My issue is that the liquid takes a very long time to fill the tank ( more than 6000 frames ). I tried lowering the gravity force and also adding an...

Re: can't get image emitter to match texture bitmap
Thank you Thomas,
Here is the dowload link from wetransfer
https://we.tl/3T7gtXzpT4
Ideally I would like for my droplets to be as big as the cylinders created with mograph cloner in the masking object null.
Kind Regards,
Ghita

Re: can't get image emitter to match texture bitmap
Hi Thomas,
Would you be able to recommend another method to obtain the desired effect?
Thanks

Re: can't get image emitter to match texture bitmap
The dots have to be small because I'm trying to recreate droplets dripping through very small holes. If i make the droplets bigger they just wont look correct, as larger dots/droplets would mean that the liquid no longer drips through, but it would trickle or pour through instead, hope this makes se...

Re: can't get image emitter to match texture bitmap
Hi Thomas and thank you for your reply. I did as you advised and created a texture which matches perfectly my disc, my issue now is that the white circles to create liquid droplets have to be very small, and when I know import in cinema this new texture doesn't seem to be recognised and the texture ...

can't get image emitter to match texture bitmap
Hi, I'm currently working on a scene where a liquid fills a tub with a perforated base and hundreds of droplets are dripping through it. I tried using an image emitter and uploaded a bitmap texture and I managed to get the liquid to flow from lots of circles but both the overall size of the fluid fl...

Re: can't see simulation under fluid container to drag multiple emitters in the link area
Alright! Great to hear that. My previous post was describing exactly what you've been trying now. If you have further questions just post me. [/quote] Hello again Thomas, would you also please be able to point me where to change the settings for the start of the emission and the emission duration? T...

Re: can't see simulation under fluid container to drag multiple emitters in the link area
Hi again Thomas, I managed to figure out how to link the multiple emitters to the fluid container thanks to further manual documentation found here: http://support.nextlimit.com/display/RFC4D2/Multiple+Emitters What I was doing wrong was trying to drag the emitters in the fluid link area instead of ...

Re: can't see simulation under fluid container to drag multiple emitters in the link area
Hi again Ghita, One more question on that: You have multiple fluids there. Do they all have different properties (density, particle type, resolution, etc)? It looks as if they're all the same. If the fluids have the same properties, then it's not too difficult, because you only need one fluid and 8...

Re: can't see simulation under fluid container to drag multiple emitters in the link area
Hi Thomas, Thank you for your reply. I tried dragging all the emitters under Fluid > Fluid tab > Links, but it wouldn't let me link more than one emitter per fluid. The only thing that worked so far was to create a separate fluid for each emitter, but the calculation becomes way too big and when cac...
