RealWave OSS corner ripple issue
I have a Realwave object with OSS applied. I am getting issues on the corners of the Realwave surface where there appears to be some weird rippling. This does seem to fade when I decrease the dimension field in the OSS (currently on 5000). I'm rendering a large ocean shot and need to scale/distance ...

Re: Alembic Import Problem
I can split the alembic file - I tried both separate and combined with the same result prior to me posting here with the problem.
I'll give the script a try - thanks!

Alembic Import Problem
I'm importing an animated mesh surface from Maya 2017 as an alembic file. (The mesh is an ocean surface generated from Maya's BOSS function.) I've also imported an animated cylinder from Maya into Realflow as an alembic file. The cylinder plays as per it's Maya counterpart. However, the mesh surface...

Re: Matching Realwave Displacement
Can anyone send me a tiff displacement that they have generated from Realwave ocean statistical spectrum?
I need to see if its the tiff displacement generation I've got an issue with or the Maya plugin.
Don't seem to be getting any help on this so far.
Thanks.

Guidance wanted
I'm creating a large scale ocean scene with a submarine. The submarine is close to the surface allowing it's periscope mast to come out of the water, but the submarine is still submerged. I've successfully created a Hybrido domain which shows the large wake made by the submarine just under the surfa...

Re: Matching Realwave Displacement
Here is a copy of the Realwave displacement export from Realfow. I've downsized the image to allow for uploading - it was 8192sq in my output and in Maya. Just looking at the displacement I cannot see the edge detail for the waves that is seen in the bin mesh I exported. The displacement looks more ...

Re: Matching Realwave Displacement
Hi Luis, I've just rechecked the Maya scene and it is configured with displacement and using mentalray. Not sure why it doesn't open the same for you? This is created in Maya 2016.5. The displacement tiff is taken from Realflow using Export Central and making sure displacement is checked for the Rea...
