Hello, You can use the generic Maya displacement shader in both ways, vector and scalar displacement. If you use scalar displacement only the green channel from the texture should be read . Make sure that "vector encoding" is "signed.." and "Vector Space" is "World" Maybe this videotutorial can help...

Hi Ben

This means that the mental ray shaders are not loaded. rfrk4.mi and rfrk4.so are in the correct place. They are needed to load the templates properly.

It seems that you have to install rfrk2014 for Maya 2014. The scripts are pointing to rfrk2014 for Maya2015.

Hello, Here are some advises to use extensions - In Maya the ProjectionPlane node used to define how the mesh is going to be clipped ( in RealFlow is the hybrido domain gizmo ) shouldn't be too close to the object that contains the fluid.
