Re: Dyverso-Granular how to settle down?
That's a nice simulation. Thanks for sharing the video and letting us know about how you've fixed the tremble.

Re: RFConnect for 3ds Max 2017?
Open the realflow.com website and click on "Sign In". Then go to "My Downloads". If you have RealFlow 10 already you can get the plugins from RealFlow 10 > Select product > RFConnect | 3DSMax. But you'll find them as well in the "Older versions of RealFlow" section at the end of the download page.

Re: Dyverso-Granular how to settle down?
Just in addition to this: - You could use higher damping values, e.g. around 3. - Higher iterations (30-50) add more stiffness to the material, more than with just increasing substeps. - Also try higher friction settings: 0.7 for both. - The DY_Friction value of the ground object plays a role as wel...

Re: RealWave OSS corner ripple issue
Hi Frosty3D, We're not 100% sure what causes this issue, but it might be a limitation in how the spectrum is computed. Anyway, I've tried a few setups and parameter combinations. The bad news is that I didn't succeed in removing the artifacts completely, but at least they are by far not so obvious w...

Re: Benchmark? [Realflow 10]
Hi maximum, We don't have dedicated benchmark scenes, but for your own internal tests you may want to use RF's demo scenes. They come bundled with the demo version and cover everything from Dyverso, to Hybrido and rigid bodies. A few notes: If you want to create your own benchmark scenes make sure t...

Re: RF connect Cinema 4d r18
Ok, I see. The installer hasn't been updated yet. No problem though
Click on the "..." button next to the R17 field and locate Cinema 4D R18's main application folder:
C:\Program Files\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R18
Then, install as usual and the plugins will be written to C4D's plugin folder automatically.

Re: RF connect Cinema 4d r18
Hi Gus,
I have the exact plugin here running on R18 for Windows and OS X without problems. What's happening on your machine? Are the plugins not appearing in the C4D's plugins folder?

Re: Texturing BIN files
Ah, Ok. Thanks for the clarification. I somehow missed that. The mesh UVs are created from the particles (they carry the UV information), so they're responsible for the final look of the textures. Did you try to change mapping with the Texture Gizmo daemon? It might be worth trying - perhaps with a ...

Re: Dyverso Particles randomly changing IDs
Hi Leo89, I know what you mean and I see the exact same issue when rendering multiple instances in Clarisse. Right now the only workaround is to reorder the particles, e.g. in XSI's ICE or with RF's graphs. But this requires that the number of particles remains constant, and the flicker will be visi...

Re: Texturing BIN files
Should I expect a difference rendering a BIN that was generated by an emitter with a particle resolution of 1 as opposed to rendering a BIN from an emitter with a particle resolution of 50?? Absolutely! And with a resolution of 100 you'll get even better results. The number of particles makes the d...
