Can I switch my license from the Mental Ray RFRK to the RMS one? Of course, this will only be if RMS 4.0 is supported. It has been out now since Sept 2012. Hopefully it may already be supported and I just don't know it. Can you please let me know? Thank you Luis

Whoohoo! Nevermind about the walk-through of how to get it going, I figured it all out. Got the mesh working now. Still have the same question of will RF2013 support RMS 4.0? Also, do I need a RFRK license for Mental Ray AND an additiional one for RMS? Or am I able to just use the license with both ...

Can someone please help walk me through how to set up the license manager on a Mac? I am pretty clueless when it comes to terminal. But I need to get my RFRK going and think the reason it isn't working is due to the license mgr

I am not getting any renders when using the renderkit. I did a really simple scene. Just created a circle emitter and some particles. It shows in the Viewport but doesn't show in the render. I put a sphere in the scene and that sphere rendered fine. I tried using Maya 2013 with Mental Ray RFRK, then...

Also with the k-age daemon. I wanted it to kill particles after 45 frames from their emission. However what has happened is after 45 frames into the sequence, the particles are killed and no more emitted
