RealWave is incoherent
Having real trouble with RealWave. Trying for simple (but realistic) wake form on Realwave surface but getting loads of grief. First the big problem: After sim and cache of RealWave with only Ocean Statistical Spectrum driving it, the ocean surface loads once or twice, but thereafter refuses to load...

Re: Meshing-node param-particle filters-core-splash
Bump!
Have had same troubles. Core and splash not working as expected... any info on what affects the settings, like scene scale or dyverso resolution or whatever, would be great.

Re: Realflow won't read triangulated mesh
Not familiar with the C4D workflow, but the message is pretty simple: your mesh has some not tri faces.
Clean up the mesh (maybe there are improper polys that you cannot see,) retriangulate and try again.

where are the RF2015 scripting docs?
Looking for the scripting reference for RF2015, specifically the description of the python interface for dyverso domains & their particles. I only see info for 2014 and earlier. the 2015 page is just a link to another website, no link to reference info on RF python object interface. You can get this...

RFRK and maya particles
Hi Is there anyway to use the RFRK particle meshing tools to render Maya particles without exporting out of package, or does RFRK only work with imported particles (from RealFlow) ? Alternately, is it possible to deform RFRK object in Maya? From what I have tried the answer is no, but maybe there is...

Re: simulation from binary loader
dOH. That makes sense... thanks!
So, if I wanted to fill in the holes on a sim I could load the original with a binary loader, add a sheeter and sim, then reload with a second binary and mesh that...
cool.

simulation from binary loader
Hi... trying to use the binary loader to pickup a previous sim then release and generate a new 'ending.' Setting release particles to frame number... the particles do release at the frame and start to sim using scene daemons. Looks good but then...After simulating, when I playback the binary loader ...

Re: time stretched binary loader jumps
Sure do. Thanks! edit: or not? When I activate the objects from the sd file in the in/out settings they appear in the "Save animation.sd" just like you said, only there is an error of "None available" under "Source for interpolation" which prevents the retiming. Setting Interpolation to "No Iterpola...

Re: time stretched binary loader jumps
Ahhh, thats how it does its magic. Started thinking about making a script/graph that trickles the new particles into the sim so they do not show up in big chunks (maybe by collecting the newly birthed particles and adding them in over time) but it gave me a headache. As far as raising the fps I was ...
