Re: Two Volumes sticking into oneanother strange behaviour

There are no Splashes in the scene.

A boat hull (closed) and a Realflow Rocket that is partly being stuck into that boat hull (to create more interesting waves). The rocket is seen by the solver, the boat hull is ignored, but maybe this is also related to the strange ABC issues I mentioned before.

Re: Parenting not working for ABCs

hi, If you are parenting an object to that ABC the object should follow the ABC center of transform. If not, it could be a bug. We'll take a look luisM. I'm parenting the ABC to an animated object and the ABC doesn't move at all, which looks like a bug for me. Anyhow, animating ABCs inside Realflow...

Two Volumes sticking into oneanother strange behaviour

I've got two volumes that are overlapping a bit, both Solid Inside. They are collision objects for a Domain.

Realflow seems to override one volume and just takes the one inside into account, creating splashes inside that volume. It should not be that way and looks like a bug to me.

Parenting not working for ABCs

Parenting an ABC to animated geo doesn't work. After adding a keyframe to an ABC, you cannot move it in RF anymore. It would have been a pleasure to see anything ABC- related working without a lot of frustration inside RF. Is there any known way how one could replace the ABC in RF with Exocortex Cra...

Re: SPH splash, conversion to grid script needed?

Go to Help > Demo Scenes > Graph > Hyflip_Splash

Press Ctrl + F2 to open the Graphs window. There are two Graphs, the first one is pretty straightforward, showing how to add particles from another source (here: Splash) to a domain. This system should also work for other particle sources than Splash.

Playblasting is way to slow

OpenGL Playblasting 150 frames in Realflow takes longer than rendering the scene in Krakatoa. You should really look into a way to speed up that process. It is just impossible to block a comüuter for half a day creating a simple playblast and we have to do this over and over again.

Re: Hybrido RPC particles converted to PRT...

Using this script, I accidently overwrote my GFC with empty ones while exporting the PRTs. Make sure you double check you aren't exporting GFC when running this script!!!

Alembic Mesh - how to read channels e.g. velocity

I exported a mesh sequence to Houdini and imported it there as ABC sequence. In Realfow's Export Central, I checked all the channels (velocity, vorticity etc.) and now I was wondering howto access those from inside Houdini. Inside the Alembicarchive, there is a Mesh Shape SOP Alembic Surface node, h...

Re: Stitcher still not working

On techdesk FTP, you will find a folder "porEnrique". It contains the abc files, as well as the stitched file plus the python code I used to build the command. Hope that helps.
