Re: Possible Sheeter Daemon bug

Just want to let you know that I've been able to reproduce the sheeter issue. When you disable the GPU the scene can be simulated though.

Re: Possible Sheeter Daemon bug

Thanks for the file! Let's see if we're able to recreate this issue. And, yes, sending us bug reports through this board is absolutely appropriate ;)

Re: Cant't get any displacement

Good news Ingvar! Everything works correctly and I was able to get the displacement from your simulation. Hybrido meshes take the Hybrido domain's viewport icon into consideration - that's a square with 4 small cubes at the edges. This icon acts in two ways: 1. mesh parts below and outside the squar...

Re: Wish list for RF|C4D

Yes, I agree that per-particle colours give better results. We've experimented with a particle shader in C4D already, but if I recall correctly there were problems with the OpenGL interface. Anyway, things improved a lot over the last months and I'll bring this feature to mind for RF|C4D 3.0. Your f...

Re: Cant't get any displacement

Sorry for the inconvenience. Could you please send the file via a hoster (Wetransfer, Google, Dropbox, etc.)?

Re: Cant't get any displacement

Hi Ingvar,

Could you please send me a basic scene where the displacement didn't work? Maybe it's really just a switch, but it's difficult to say without knowing what you've turned on or off. Otherwise your scene will be helpful for debugging.

Thanks,
Thomas

Re: Scripted Liquid (internal force)

Sorry for my late reply, but I've simply overseen your answer. There's a C++ manual under C:\Program Files\Next Limit\RealFlow 10\sdk\doc\manual. It contains how to use C++ with RF, build a developement environment, create and compile the different plugin types, and place them inside RF to make them...

Re: Wish list for RF|C4D

Thanks for your suggestions. We'll take them into consideration. Maybe one word on the falloff: For some daemons like drag or magic it's technically not possible to create falloffs, because their force fields are calculated at simulation time, since they depend on the position of the affected partic...

Re: Viscous fluids density

Sorry for the late reply Scott, but I was a) ill and b) busy with some other projects. You're right, the phyiscal interaction between viscous fluids with different densities doesn't turn out as it actually should. I was also experimenting with your scene, but it's indeed a bit disappointing. I'll pa...
