Re: Deselect Nodes
That's true if you have a lot of nodes in your scene. It might make it easier if you type the name in the filter to find the node. But what is the condition of the objects you need to deselect? Maybe you can write a python script to find certain nodes and deselect them. Why do you deselect these nod...

Re: Deselect Nodes
If you mouse-hover over a node in the viewport, it will show you the name of the node. Hope that helps.

Re: Slower than 2012
So strange, thanks a lot for testing it!Otuama wrote:The results obviously differs with sys spec.
Using your same settings:
9 secs with CL.
10 secs GUI openGL off.

Re: Slower than 2012
Yeah, I know all that about command line. My main interest is in knowing whether people get faster speeds with 2012 when not using CL. Having said that, I still haven't tested the difference between the CL with 2012 & 2013. Interested to see the results of that. Yeah, I have standard so can't load ...

Re: Slower than 2012
Do you have both versions installed? If so, can you make the same simple scene in both versions and run a GUI test to see if you get the same speeds. Depending on what your scene is, you may need to have a pretty high SPH res to see worthwhile results. Unfortunately I do not. But I can tell you tha...

Re: Hybrido 2 Boat sim Wrong
Just 1, I think the same in your scene. I added friction to your scene, also lowered the "global cell size" parameter to 0.5. Here you can see the video and the scene. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18354044/test01.mov https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18354044/YachtScaled.zip I had a feelin...

Re: Slower than 2012
I don't know how command line effects the speed with 2012, but I can promise it makes 2013 sims much faster, especially with SPH particles. Please post results if you try it. Good luck!

Re: Slower than 2012
Are these results with command line simulations? I've notice an extreme boost in sim speed with command line in LE.

Re: RW Statistical Spectrum and RW Object Splash
So after trying this out in a few different test scenes, I found that it was better to just generate the splash with a 0.0 choppiness RW, then cache the particles and resim with choppiness, the speed : accuracy ratio was best using that method. The main reason is that the graph wouldn't apply any wa...

Re: Hybrido 2 Boat sim Wrong
Maybe grid friction of the object? If that doesn't work vorticity boost of 2 or 3 might help. I'm not positive bit these are things to try.
