Re: Small scale scene / crash + Questions
Hi, The kVolume will prevent particles going to the infinite and beyond if they explode getting a mad velocity. This could be causing memory issues and crashes, that is why it is always recommended to use this daemon. If you provide the geometry, we might be able to run in the same conditions. The l...

Re: Small scale scene / crash + Questions
Hi there, It might simply be that your kVolume isn´t catching all the particles that might be flying away too fast. In your scene there are particles way off the area where you are simulating and outside that kVolume you have in there. So, simple scale that kVolume and resim. That would be my first ...

Re: Retimer, Keyframes and 0kb frames
Hey Octavio!
Will check that tomorrow when in the office, but that is RF2013, so it might be that what you are seeing isn´t a problem in RF2014. The latest on that one is 8.1.2.0192
Cheers,

Re: Tsunami Sim
How can I get that massive wave though and control it while still having the smaller normal waves of the ocean going on? Best way? Please help Hi Mark, Without know exactly what you are after in terms of look, I'd say that this might be a perfect fit for the Ocean Force Field daemon. You will sort ...

Re: maya camera focal length issue
Hi Peter, I don´t think we do have clipping planes. Maxwell Render inside RealFlow is supposed to serve just as preview renders, not final, for now, so there is only a subset of the functionality that you get within a 3D package such as Maya with the MW plugin there. Regarding the FIRE window, if it...

Re: maya camera focal length issue
Hi Peter, Quick one. Forgetting about the script for a minute, when you render with Maxwell using Maxwell Preview inside RealFlow, do the images come out correctly? In our tests it seems that there might be a bug in the command line option for previewing with MW but not there, so please bear with us...

Re: Differing Displacement
Hi, Unless you have a 3d vectorial displacement shader in VRay that understands the RF OSS displacement in the same way that the one we provide with the other implementations of RFRK(Maxwell, mentalray, Arnold...) I am afraid that you won´t be able to get the same look on the plane for the extension...
