Re: Scene scale in 2013?
Hey Luis, Thanks for your answer, yes I'm aware of this, let me go a little more into detail. The way the modelling on the film I'm working on is done, I usually want to scale my scene to 10%. Whenever I can, I group my objects in my maya-scene and scale to 0.1 before exporting to realflow, but some...

My graph is crashing!
I'm quite new to scripting and graphs, but I'm trying to set up a graph that gets the transformation and rotation of a camera, creates a null and sets the position and rotation based on the camera. I created a graph that does this, but with a cube instead of a camera, but as soon as I switch to tryi...

Foam snap to mesh
I have this little sandbox scene where I had issues with foam sometimes being under the mesh. Angel Tena commented and uploaded a graph that snaps the foam to the closest position on the mesh, and it worked awesome, really cool that you guys take the time to hang out and follow all the stuff that's ...

Re: Open boundaries
Actually for me it doesn't work in gui in cmd-line or on sim-nodes at the moment, but it seems to be slightly intermittent.
It worked in my current shot before I started upressing it more...
Is there an estimate date for the first update of RF13?

Best way to import particles in maya?
Hi guys, So traditionally we've been using the connectivity plugin here to import the bin-particles into maya. But because of the underlying particle disk-cache functionality this seems unstable, maya seems "to think" that it should run up the particles, and in cases where the particlecount is in th...

Automating project-setup with python
Hi guys, We're looking to optimize our workflow at work, and when you have a large number of shots, setting up projects for every one becomes tedious, so I'm wondering if project creation can be automated with python? I'm not that into scripting myself, but would like to point my technical superviso...

Re: Open boundaries
Hey Luis, Now you said something! I have a scene where the open boundaries-function is now working (meshing in GUI) and when I tried it in command line it actually crops the sides!! So it seems to be the other way around here. I would like to be able to send this scene to you, who should we contact ...

Re: Open boundaries
Nice, it may of course just be a coincidence that it started working after I scaled my scene in maya instead of RF, but would be nice to know if it works for you too
