Re: RFRK2 Manual
RFRK mesher is for Render Kit 1 (th old version). So if you purchased that and ant to render a scene with the old render Kit, you need to use the nodes for the old render kit. I think this is evident.

Re: Eliminating Particles in a post process
Unfortunately, this doen not work. It was really very handy to have a tool that will be able to eliminate particles in a post process, without having to re- simulate for some 15 hours just because there are some blotchy and strange behaving partciles that cannot be removed in compositing. Unfortunat...

Re: RFRK2 Manual
Hi, even though I was complaining about the manual (and yes, it still could get better but I guess currently there is just no time for improving that over there in Madrid but probably there will be in the future), I have some good experience in using RFRK2. If you sent me your scenes/ settings I wil...

Eliminating Particles in a post process
Hi, does anybody know about a quick and easy means to eliminate unwanted particles in a post process? I tried clipping them out of my renderings using RFRK2/ Object clipping, but there seems to be an issue (bug report already sent). Is there anything else (apart from scripting, I am way too lazy to ...

Re: Setting up VS2008
ok, when I open the example project at its location as *.vsproj and build the x64 release, everything is running smoothly- but trying to build it from scratch results in the errors stated above.

Setting up VS2008
Hi, Trying to recreate your graviton example in VS 2008, I always get the same output: 1>------ Build started: Project: graviton, Configuration: Release x64 ------ 1>Compiling... 1>graviton.cpp 1>.\src\graviton.cpp(16) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'rf_sdk/sdk/appmanager.h': No such...

Filter Deamon Collision
Hi,
it was very convenient, if I could choose wich object the particles need to collide with to trigger the collision event.
Cheers,
Flo

Re: RFRK2 Manual
Hey Gus, Almost every part is just scratching the surface. Here are some examples where it is very obvious: 1. Using magnitudes for shading This is one of the "killer features" of RFRK. In the manual, there are some pictures and at the very last page, there is an example for a Maya shading network (...

RFRK2 Manual
Hi,
after reading the new RFRK2 manual, I got the impression it is still in draft state, not a final manual. Will there be a better manaual in the future?
