KVolume for Caronte
It would be nice to have a sort of Kvolume for Caronte that allows user to define a volume where the dynamics are evaluated. For instance, imagine you have a shot and a lot of pieces jump out of the frame of the shot, you could disconnect those pieces that are out of frame.

Hi!
Is it going to affect this warning to the simulation?

K_Volume by % for Hybrido
I would like to have the possibility to control the amount of particles which are removed when using a KVolume daemon with Hybrido.

getFractureFaces
I would like to have the possibility to get the new faces created by the fracture tool via python.
A getCoplanarFaces function could be a good function, to get the cut faces.

Re: Render rf particles as Maya fluid
I rendered this sequence using RenderKit for all particles.

Now I´m going to try the other option you give me.

Re: Render rf particles as Maya fluid
Hola Florian! ;) - In Maya 2011 and Maya 2012, you can emit from particles- so use your RF particles as emitter. In the fluid emitter's attributes, in "Basic Emitter Attributes", I ticked "Use per Point Radius" in order to control the emission and I added a simple Creation Expression to radiusPP so ...

Render rf particles as Maya fluid
Hi! I am still studding work-flows for clouds and volumetric and wonder if somebody here has tried render a particle system using Maya fluids but taking the density of number of particles per voxel. I rendered this image using Mental ray and RFRK Cloud, Mesh and Particles all together but it is extr...

Evaporation
I am trying to achieve this effect using scripting and some filters:

I´ve founded some difficulties to get the particles at the outside border of the fluid.

Any ideas to get that particles?
