Re: Audio Controlled Particles.
If you want to separate it by frequencies, it should be as simple as editing the audio file (in Audacity, for example) and removing the undesired frequencies using an equalizer or something like that. Just in case Maya does not allow that option itself. That sounds like it could be used for some re...

Yes, I don't know what to do about that, it's quite annoying. Maybe I'll put it on Vimeo.ValentinD wrote:Hi !

Re: Audio Controlled Particles.
Hi, I remember there was a script long time ago, for RF4 I think, where you had the posibility to make simulation by using a audio file. luisM. I wish I knew enough about python to figure that out. I needed to use intermediary software to convert the audio file to a txt file with decibel values. I ...
Re: Honey
Oh wow... all this time I could have had more stable viscous simulations... thanks so much for the heads up!

An idea I've had for a while. Imported the audio as keyframes through a tab delimited txt file, with python. what do you guys think?

Re: Honey
Looks good really man! This isn't about the simulation, but the plate geo could be subdivided once to make it look less polygonal. The actual honey looks great though, so stable! I'm curious how it works when you go over the maximum recommended substeps in realflow. It didnt look like a low framerat...

Re: Command line issue
I e noticed that in command line as well. It says for example: Frame 2 Started, however frame 2 is complete. My best guess is that it means its starting to simulate the particles from frame 2 to frame 3. I don't know if this would mix things up for Realflow though.

Re: RW Statistical Spectrum and RW Object Splash
This is great Alex, I will start testing it with my scene soon. Will post results once I have something good.
Thanks very much!

RW Statistical Spectrum and RW Object Splash
When using Statistical Spectrum to add waves to a Realwave, any object splash emitter connected to an object colliding with the RW causes the splash particles at the waterline to generate in the wrong position. I've tried it many different ways and concluded there is no easy way around this. Either ...
