Re: Mountain River Help!!!

Hi, That looks like a cool landscape you've got. I think you're right that Hybrido is the way to go. You'll need to find some tutorials to get you started and then experimentation with lots of trial and error, with an extra helping of error. Try some of these... https://www.youtube.com/results?searc...

Re: Where is my mesh?

In your Mesh node, make sure under "Build", it says yes.

Re: Hybrido Particles Leaking Through

Hi Luis,

Thanks a lot, that did the trick.

Strange, I read about that in some of the documentation, but didn't think that was the solution for I never had to do that with Standard Particles.

I feel like I'm starting from scratch.

Thanks again,

Re: Hybrido Particles Leaking Through

Hi, Thanks for your help. I reduced the Cell Size on both the emitter and the object and got it so the particles are not leaking through any more. My next problem comes from me trying to fill up the pond. I set the emitter to Stream, put the emitter object at the bottom and hit simulate. I don't use...

Re: Hybrido Particles Leaking Through

Thanks!

I had done some reading but didn't realize the object has a Cell size parameter too. I'll read up and see what happens.

Hybrido Particles Leaking Through

Hi Everybody, Now that 2014 is out with the new Viscosity for Hybrido, I'm going to start using it for larger area that need much more than standard particles. As a test, I tried some geometry that I used in a previous project for a small pond. It's the same geometry, from the same SD file, with the...

Re: flush

Hi, If you could post some pictures of your geometry, that would help, but from what I've read, there's a couple of things I'd try. 1. Decrease the gravity. The defualt is -9.8. You could try going down to -5 or even -1 and see if the water drains more slowly. 2. A Corialis or Vortex Demoan might ge...

Re: Sticky

I'd like to know that myself. I use high Sticky Values with Particle Friction and Roughness to make the particles stick to slow moving object, but I'd really love to have something that would stick and stay put even if the object is moving more quickly. I looked into this a while ago and I heard tha...

Re: RF 2014

I'd like to know that too.

Will it be the same 100 US dollars?
