fluid interaction

Post by gusgogus » Sat Aug 06, 2016 11:49 pm

Hi,

While attempting to create a splash by having 2 fluids collide with each other, I noticed that the fluids don't interact. It's a simple set up with 2 emitters and 2 fluids.
Are you all aware of this issue?

It's impossible for me to create a beer with foam animation or oil and water. I need to make this happen for a freelance gig that's coming up soon and will lose a lot of money and possibly a good customer if I can't get this to work.

Please help.

Yes, we know that and it's a limitation of the current version which will be removed in RF|C4D 2.

Do you perhaps have a standard/standalone license of RealFlow 2016? It's the only way to create this kind of simulation at the moment :(

yeah, i looked at the release notes for the patch and saw the limitations section. No worries, though. I found a nice workaround for the foam with thinking particles.
