weight maps stop working with new c4d session

Hi All

My problem is basically what it says in the title; I have a set up with two emitters/fluids and mesh them with the same mesher, which works initially but when I reopen the scene after closing c4d the weights no longer work.

Weight 0 is fully 0% weighted and weight 1 is fully 100% weighted. There's no split.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
