Hello,
I'm testing that simple animation to integrate it in a larger one (Cinema4D R20):

(I'm hoping you are able to download it...)
I don't understand why my liquid is passing though my "bucket" when accelerating ...
I tried many different values for the fluid parameters, but always with that strange result.
Can someone be so kind to test my scene and explain my errors, please ?
Thank you in advance
Philippe

Re: Liquid is passing through my object
Hi
it is probably necessary to turn on "Continuous Collision Detection" in the Rf collider tag of the bucket object. Disable auto, then enable that setting.

Maybe use a little higher collision distance
Also, use the "high" setting in the other tag, the Volume tag.
Finally, the motion of the bucket may still be a little too fast. Filling moving vessels is somewhat delicate: the liquid can leak or slush around too much. For these animations I recommend a very slow motion-animation of the vessels.

Hi Christian,
thank you for your reply that helped me.
I try your setting and tuned the distance parameter, and get something more realistic...
Despite RealFlow is really awesome, I supposed it was more rigourous about a concept as simple as "liquids don't flow through objects".
But at the end, I get something visually acceptable.
Best regards
Philippe
