Hi all!
Happy to announce the release of #RFC4D's first patch! It contains some important bug fixes, such as a significant issue relating to external render apps (particularly Octane Render). Get it from your Customer Gateway or the Demo page and enjoy

Still crashes and still sucks. Paid $600 for a broken plugin that should just be free at this point.
Do you guys even test these patches claiming it work with Octane render now?

Hello, we are extremely sorry to hear that you are still suffering problems with Octane Render. We have done a lot of tests before the release and all of them were passed without any issues. Please notice that a patch for the Octane render was released three weeks ago by Otoy and that some issues with RealFlow|Cinema 4D were addressed, do you have that patch installed? In any case our tests were run without that Octane Render patch and as I said they went OK.
It would be great if you could send us a more detailed information about the crashes, for instance, version of Cinema 4D, OS, GPU, version of Octane Render, procedure to reproduce a crash, etc. That would be of great help for us to solve the problems.
Thank you.

I am using Cinema 4D R 17.048 for Windows. I have the Cinema 4D Parch 1.0.1.095

@ willkings:
You're right, the Phong tag can't be deleted and the properties are locked as well. Definitely something that should be changed. Thanks for pointing us to that.
