Re: NO way to license Floating License version?
Hi Steve,
I can't see the license. Is it attached?. Anyway, try to follow these steps and let me know it works
- Open a terminal and go to "/Applications/MAXON/CINEMA 4D R17/plugins/RealFlow/rlm" folder
- Place the license into .../Documents/realflow_cinema4d/license folder. (if the folder doesn't exist, you can create it yourself)
- In the terminal type again "rlm -c path_to_the_license/license.lic (to install the license and run the service).
- Go to the Activity monitor to check out thet rlm service is running.
- Open a web browser and type "http://localhost:5054
- Click on Status button to check put if the license is installed properly.
- Run Cinema. The plugin will be loaded and it will be available from RealFlow menu.

Re: NO way to license Floating License version?
Hi,
The license seems be fine, but you have a license.lic file which is a demo license. Remove it from that folder. If not the plugin will be loading that license instead the good one. For install the license follow the steps I sent in the previous post.
Also, you have changed the port in host.lic to 5054. It must be
HOST 192.168.1.64 5053
as 5054 is the port to connect with the RLM web service.

Re: NO way to license Floating License version?
Hello,
C4D is now out in R18 version, which I have installed.
If the same directories are used for the prior license, what other changes are needed to make R18 recognize the license that now works with R17?
