Licensing and floating license question.

Post by emihich » Mon Nov 05, 2012 5:27 pm

I have a single workstation license of Realflow 2012 .
I am traveling for 2 weeks , and I am in the midlle of Production work in Realflow,
also, using an SSD drive to storage the heavy files generated by the simulations.
May I use Realflow 2012 on my notebook while I am traveling and away of my desktop ?
I have a decent Thinkpad notebook i7 with 16 of ram and ,if the license works in the same way than Maxwell,
(I have Maxwell Render license too) I could use the same license temporarily on my notebook , I guess.
Please let me know if it is possible.

Hi there,

You can install RealFlow in multiple boxes, as long as you only run concurrently RF the number that you have licensed it for.
The license will detect any computer in your network that is running and stop working if you try to go over the limit.
In your case, traveling and using it in your laptop you would be ok ;)
