Can´t stop particles

Post by lossesos » Mon Jul 19, 2010 12:29 pm

First of all congratulations to the developers for RF5!!

I´m doing a splash with a standar emitter. Every thing goes really good until the particles after hiting an object get on the floor, most of the particles remain still but the ones that stay agay from the main group of particles start to going creasy after been calm for a while. This are little groups of 2 and 3 particles.

Any idea why is this happening and how to solve it??

Thank you in advance.

Try increasing the substeps, this should do it. The behaviour you are describing resembles to common issues when there are not sufficient substebs calculated.

Thank you,

But at the end I solved increassing surface tension of the liquid, so this little particles dont go away.

Cheers.

Also did a test increasing substeps and solve the problem.

Thank you FlorianK.
