Post by Otuama » Fri Mar 01, 2013 2:28 pm

Hi.

I'm getting the following problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcdmXF3EKEg&hd=1

My gfx card is up to date
It also happens with arrows turned on but you can't see it as much.
I've tried a reinstalling Rf
I've deleted app Data folders

Thanks.

Hey,

It seems be a problem with the graphic card. What graphic card do you have?. Anyway, could you send the scene to check here?

Sorry, I forgot I'd posted here too.

I fixed the problem.

It was something to do with my gfx driver. I tested the scene in safe mode and the particles rendered fine.

I went into my gfx card settings. 2012 wasn't in the list of the 'Manage 3D Settings' section. I added it and now the particles are back to normal.

No idea why suddenly they started to screw up or why 2012 was removed from the gfx card 3D settings list (if that's what happened).

---------

The gfx card is automatically setting both my Rf's (2012 & 2013) to use the integrated graphics, not my Nvidia card. I've set both to use the Nvidia card? Am I right to do that?

Does setting 2013 to my Nvidia card mean that CUDA will work? Would CUDA have worked if I'd left 2013 to use integrated graphics?
