I have read a lot of posts about hybrido collisions and cell size....I dont think this is the case here.
My collisions, whether inside a box or on a plane are always 1 realflow display grid offset away from the surface.
When I look at the cell size on the domain....there is at least 3 cells in between the box and the collision of the particles...so I cant see it being grid resolution.
When I lowered the resolution on the domain and the collision object....the collision did occur closer...but always 3 cells away from the actual object
Is there anything I am missing here? this is only with hybrido

Re: Hybrido collision problems
this is with the shell volume method...it appears to have a built in offset....
the other volume methods seems to work much better

Re: Hybrido collision problems
it has indeed a 3 cell offset, makes it hard to adjust geometry before running a sim.
you can make a bowl/container geo in your 3d app, make sure it has a thickness to it and use the 'solid inside' setting/
