RF2014 License

Post by frescalus » Wed Jun 18, 2014 5:56 pm

I have an issue with the licensing. I downloaded my license from the site, I had to change the port but after rebooting the port is now in use and RF doesn't find a license for it...

I followed the instructions to license it with RLM...so what's happening?

Hi Neil,

Did you change the port on the license as well?

Best,

yeah I changed the port, and then surfing through the help files again and and copying the license file to the rlm directory that was installed when I upgraded maxwell... it appears to be fixed now

Hi Eolo,

The first stop when looking for info about RF should normally be the online docs.
http://support.nextlimit.com/category/realflow
There are quite a few links to normally take you to what you are looking for, and you can do searchs there too.
Since you are looking for install tips, you probably will end up here:
http://support.nextlimit.com/display/rf ... /Licensing
Make sure you check the pages on the left tree and specially the troubleshooting guide:
http://support.nextlimit.com/display/rf ... leshooting

Hope it helps.

The information is there, I will say sometimes you'll have to try something you normally wouldn't try, but the information for licensing is there. I tried a step that didn't seem like it fit and it worked.

yeah, RLM issues here too.

I got exocortex running on RLM from this folder:

C:\rlmutil

so i copied the realflow .lic and .set files to this folder..
if i go to:

http://localhost:5054/home.asp

I can see the ISV server is running for exocortex on port 49986, and next limit is NOT running on port 49987...i must have done it for exocortex..but i can remember how i made the ISV server to run,,,!

heeeeelp!!! :geek: :(
