2.Is there an LE edition
3.When is it out?
4.Was whoever made all the noise during the webinar shot?

Hi,

I'm really excited about Dyverso. I like to use Standard particles a lot because Hybrio does not work for my needs most of the time. I need the detail of the standard particles.

One thing is will Dyverso have the ability to do "Sticky" particles? I found settings in RF2013 for my particles to stick to the geometry (mostly) the way I want. But when I take the same scene, and don't change any of the settings, into RF2014, the sticky does not work nearly as well and the particles fall off much too easily. How well does Sticky work in Dyverso?

Also, what about viscosity? I use a lot of high viscosity fluids in my projects, around 200-300, and that means lots of substeps which can mean 10-30 minutes per frame to simulate. How well does Dyverso handle viscosity?

Thanks!

Hey,

Thanks so much!

About questions.

1. At the end of July.
2. Yes of course. I think it will be called "Student" or something like that.
3. see question 1. :)
4. I don't know ;)
5. See question 3. :)

Dyverso will have Sticky as well. Now, it is not working yet but it will. Maybe you are trying the alpha o beta and you have seen it is not working properly.

About viscosity it is working now with PBD and SPH for dyverso. With PBD you need to increase the viscosity value and try to increase the steps as well. For example, I made a scene with viscosity 5000 (we are adjusting ranges yet) and steps 10 for dyverso in the simulation options.

Sounds good Luis! :D

If its not too late, please make the sticky capable of being very very sticky if needed. I'd like the stick to be such that if you dip you hand into a bucket of paint, most of the paint would drip off, but not all, and you've hand would be covered in layer of paint.

That's the kind of sticky I'm looking for and have not see yet. 8-)

We've been busy last days with this, I did a quick test of the stickiness+friction interaction, hope you like!
