Hi,

sorry but this report doesn't show any valid information. Could you describe the scene you was doing?

Thanks

Hi Luis, it's actually your fault.... :o

I'm making a demonstration of a bubble technique I've discovered but one bubble wouldn't rise so I wanted to delete it. I was going to write a script that deleted all the selected particles but quickly looked online and it was the first topic I found of your blog.

I ran the script and it worked. However, when it got to the last frame Rf crashed and I got that report.

Now the scene won't load. Rf hangs and I have to force close it.

Backups work fine. It's just that file. Also, I've run your script a few times since and I haven't had the problem. It was just that one time.

Just one of those things I presume.

-----------------

I'll send you the file if you'll find that useful. I think I still have it.

P.S. Only joking about the it's your fault bit.

P.P.S. No I'm not :D

On the topic of the particle selection tool, would it be possible to add in the functionality to delete the particles for the length of the timeline, or for the length of the loaded cached files?

It's pretty pointless having the remove particles button when the user has to run an emitter.export() command for each frame.

Bringing this functionality into the particle selection tool would be great.

Hi Otuama,

Haha. Mnnnn...I think it could be becuase the last frame is not related with the simulation you are doing. So, the script is loading the last frame but the ids are different so RF is crashing :)

If not, send me the two last frames to try here to know what is happening. If you want to try yourself, try to paint the number of ids for some particles for the last two frames. If they don't match, you'll have the crash.
