GFC and retime ???

hi,

i have a slow sim (when isn't it slow) i meshed it...i cant get motion blur out of it.

i have done tests with simpler setups, both retimed and not, and motion blur is fine.

my question is when you retime a H2 sim, the retime tool cant find the GFC files.

is that an issue? i moved my RPC files to a new project added a domain withthe same name as the retimed particles, and mehsed it..and no motion blur..

is anyone done re times with H2 and got mo blur issues?

ok ok.

i meshed a portion, of an un-retimed sim, with no GFC files, only RPC

motion blur=yes.

so if GFC aint essential for mesh velocity data i am having a wild guess that moving RPC files to a new project folder stuffs something up.

i recall a similar issue with meshing a year or so ago, so i am hoping that is all...but i do like to keep my meshing separate from the simulation project..to be tidy and whatnot

will re time and see if that works...

now, a camomile tea. :?

Hello Octavio, sorry for the delay in the answer, I missed this post.
The GFC files are not related at all with the velocity of particles in the RPC files. You know GFC files have fields information, that as far as we know you don't need to interpolate them during the retime process. Only retiming particles makes sense, under our point of view. That's why we don't consider GFC files during the retiming process.

Thank you for your comments.
