Cleaned data folder

When I use 'Clean data folder', the files aren't sent to the recycle bin.
Where do they go?

they are removed like you do SHIFT + DELETE.

Ah, they're permanently deleted, skipping the recycle bin.
You taught me something today. Had no idea shift-delete does that. You learn something every day.
