Ok, thanks a lot FlorianK and Luis for these advice, animators retake the shot, as soon as possible I will come back with (good?) news ! :)

Hello everyone,

Since the last time, I have fliped my normals and it seems to be better but...

I have another trouble with my scene, here is a video of my problem : https://mega.co.nz/#!cFJhkCbY!XssXp2vw0 ... rwtpPEstrQ

The simulation seems to be OK but at a time (frame 90) the fluid do something wierd, it looks like an object do too big influence on the particules and create huge interaction...

(here is my parameters for all the objects : friction bandwidth 1.2, Interaction factor : 2)

Did you have an idea of what is going on ?

Thanks !

Hey,

It seems be a problem with the voxelization. I saw you don't have caps for your chicken legs and they could be generating the explosions. I advice you to close the meshes. Another tip to avoid that kind of explosions is set the surface offset for the jail, at least, the middle of the value you set for the cell size, but keep in mind the value you set for the global cell size as well.

Thanks Luis,

I have filled the cap of the legs and increase the surface offset...

I re-simulate it and send you some news !

Thanks !

Hello again !

It seems to be better but I still have a strange behavior : https://mega.co.nz/#!cYBBhDYL!am3MjQbcE ... GhqkmWksHA

Did you have an idea ?

Thanks for the help !

Hey ValentinD,

Do you have the jail object or legs chicken crossing the fluid when they fall? Maybe the solution is to scale up the emitter in Y for the emitter leaving more particles behind objects. Did you set a surface offset for the jail geometry?

Hello LuisM,

My object didn't cross the fluid, I have suppressed my chicken legs just for seeing if it is the problem.

For every mesh of my jail, I have set my surface offset to 0.15;

I don't think it will be a problem, but my global cell size scale is at 0.8 and geo scale : 0.05 (I remember some bug about the open boundary meshing and global scale option...)

I will simulate with more particules under the jail and send you some news/video... I hope it will work, my deadline comes quickly ! :)

Hello Miguel !

I still have the problem... Here is a video : https://mega.co.nz/#!JYQiEDYR!TRgW7FI1e ... hhdFNxFk1A

In this simulation, the chicken legs are not connected to the fluid... It still "explode"... I don't understand what is my problem here...

Thanks for the help, I hope that we will find a solution...

What substeps are you using for the Hybrido solver?
