Do you need to buy a Node for 2012 Command Line?

Hi,
I need to go back to 2012 and would like to use the command line. When I type in the commands, it tells me I don't have a license.
Do I need to buy a Node for 2012 to use the command line or did I do something wrong?
"C:\Program Files\Next Limit\RealFlow 2012\RealFlow.exe" -nogui "E:\Pos\DA\RF QS\Shot 3\DA03.flw"
Thanks,

Hey,
In realflow 2013 you are not using a node license but a -nogui command. You have the same for RealFlow 2012. Go to the realflow folder directory and type "realflow.exe -nogui scene.flw". It will simulate the scene like RF2013 does when clicking the command line option in the simulation options.

Hey Luis,
I did do that, and it said I don't have a proper license. I'll try again and if it does it again, I'll take a screen shot.

Hi Luis,
After waiting for my last shot to finish simulation, I tried the Command Line on the next shot, and for some reason, now its working.
I've gone over what I did before vs now and the only difference I can find is that I had the GUI version of 2012 running when I tried to do the command line, while this time I did not.
If that's not it, I must have entered the command in wrong somehow.
Thanks,

Hey Luis,
I spoke too soon. It's doing it again. I had the simulation going in the command line and I stopped it because I wanted to start it up again with the GUI to see what the time difference would be, but now I can't get the command line going again.

Hey,
Do you have this variable in your system?.
/* floating license */ RF_GUI_USE_LICENSE_MANAGER=1
If you have, remove it or set the value to 1.

Hi,
Mnnn weird. If you don't remember to set it in your system, probably it is not there. Take a look at the environment variables, but it is strange. The command line option always uses the "realflow -nogui", if you have installed the license, the command line option should be working too.

Hi Luis,
Once I understood what you meant by Environment Variables, I looked it up and checked. No, that line is not there.
Could the problem be because I'm trying to use the Command Line on a RF file that is on another hard drive? I've got all my RF stuff on a 2 TB drive called E:\
Thanks,
