Changing Ocean Statistical Spectrum in Menu takes ages

Changing values in Ocean Statistical Spectrum tab takes ages even at frame 0 without anything displayed , simulated or visible. I think this should not be.

Well anytime you change the settings, it will recalculate a new displacement map unless you set "Calculate displacement" to never. Either way it shouldn't take too long unless the resolution is high. I usually work with 512 until I like the result, then I turn it up for the final pass.

Thank you for sharing your workarounds. I also know how to address the problems, but anyway it should not be like that in the first place. It mus be possible to:

- disable Auto Calculation and just calculate upon hitting an update button.

This is the way things like this are handled in a lot of other applications. For a reason.
