Splash/Foam Emission Preview

Post by FlorianK » Thu Jul 25, 2013 6:23 pm

Hi,

sometimes, the SPlash Foam Emission doesn't update correctly. Therefore, it was nice to have a force update button.

That's true! To see the difference, I usually have to change frames after changing the values.

I experience this aswell, my only suggestion for now is that instead of framestepping, you can try the reload current frame-command, it's under the file menu or via keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+u

Hey,

I don't understand when you say that the foam is not updated properly. Do you mean when loading from cache?. if so, what does happen when updating the splash foam?

The problem is not Foam. The problem is about the Hybrido Domain's Splash Foam Creation Preview in the Display tab. That sometimes doesn't update correctly, so it was nice to have a button to force an update.
