HI there...

I'm running a sim through the command line on a Hybrido scene in Realflow 2013. is it possible to pick up a simulation from the frame it was on at the point of a crash or do you need to start the sim over?

If you are running the latest version of 2013 (147) then there is a new item in the Simulate submenu. Command Line options will let you select the range of what frame the command line starts and stops.

If you are using 2012, then you need to put in an argument when you start like realflow.exe -range 57 150

Here, the command line will simulate at frame 57 and end at frame 150.

Running RF 2013 (147) I tried that and it doesn't pick it up where it left off... not sure if there is something I'm missing or not....
I entered the frame range into the Command Line Options (in my case 65 to 200) and it seems to not keep the body of particles that were already simulated... if that makes any sense...

There's a check box in there somewhere you have to un check, otherwise it will default to the scene range.

Hey,

Don't forget to select the Use cache besides the range you want to simulate. It is on the right column in the command line options.
