I've successfully exported a basic polygon cube from Maya in the following formats; OBJ, Alembic and also SD file to test.
I can import all of these into Hybrido but for some reason none of them will interact with a particle emitter I have set up.
The Hybrido scene is properly linked as I have substituted the Maya cube with a Hybrido primitive cube and the emitted particles will interact with this native cube.
In Maya I have ensured the cube is UVW mapped and have also triangulated the faces. The normals are correct facing outwards and there are no animations on the cube.
This problem has got me puzzled and I can't figure it out!
I've tried selecting all three volume methods from shell, solid inside and solid outside. I've changed the global cell size scale down from 1.0 to 0.3 to see if that had any effect. The particles just pass straight through the imported object.
I'm using a simple cube as I have a more complex scene which I need to work on, but won't until the basics are working well.
Any help appreciated....

Hi,
Send us the scene with any file SD, ABC or OBJ you want to check. I guess you have the volume parameter for the emitter "inside", right? or if you have a container, that parameter will be outside.
Let me know.

Re: Maya Object into Hybrido
OK - Figured out what was happening...
I would send the scene to another node on the local network to calculate the simulation. The scene was saved in a central point on the network, however the imported object was local to the machine I was working on. I assumed that having the scene on the network would be fine and contain all the scene information. It seems it also needs the imported object file on the network, whether it be OBJ, SD or Alembic.
Now I have saved the Maya object onto the network the simulation works perfectly.
