Hybrido Displacement map with White caps. Shading?

Post by dario.ortisi@gmail.com » Sun Feb 09, 2014 7:47 pm

Hi there. As in the subject of the Thread i have this question for you. How mapping, a good foam map from alpha of the displacement map of Stathistical Spectrum. I'm using remap value from Maya 2014, plugged the alpha channel on input value and joke with the ramp, but i really have weird results, maybe other nodes help me on get good appear. Also, it's correct on file node, "No/alpha is luminance"?

Hi Dario,

I send you a graph to normalize the colors. Try to import it into simulation flow and configure the path from you want to load the image, as well as the name. Same thing to generate the new image. Also, there is a Real node which is indicating the maximum value you should apply to normalize. The maximum is printed once the graph is running. Just simulate the scene and you'll see a message print with the maximum value you need to set in the Real node.
