Particles to form logo but still keep organic shape

Hello,
I'm working on a solution to form a logo with particles but keep it organic. This image isn't exactly what the logo looks like but it's the closest example. http://www.dailyfreepsd.com/wp-content/ ... vector.png or this http://www.clker.com/cliparts/x/X/x/E/N/x/wave-hi.png
I want to say for all intents and purposes, the look I'm trying to get is this wave loop in this image. https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/imag ... 9Hb0SsZkSS but still following the overall shape of the logo. It just feels very natural.
I've tried things like filling up the shape I imported from Cinema 4D but that just gives me a very blocky look and I need that run off and particles drifting out of the main shape.
Would the Magic Daemon be a better tool for this or would the spline emitter be better? Maybe the Coriolis Daemon? A point in the right direction would be awesome. Thanks!
