Hi every one, I tried to create a real scale scene, with some water pouring into a glass, and then gaz bubble emitting from the water.
My problem is that with a volume of 250 ml in the glass, a few seconds after I lauch the simulation, Realflow crashed.
1/ Is it possible to use that small scale simulation ?
2/ I have recreated the same scene at a larger scale and it works, now my problem is that bubble in the water are too big, I would like to have smaller bubble, and of course bubble from different size. I cant succeed in size variation, my bubbles are always big, so what is the secret ?
here is my scene for analysis : https://hubic.com/home/pub/?ruid=aHR0cH ... IxMjY5Njc4#
thank you for the help you may provide me.

Re: Small scale scene / crash + Questions
Hi there,
It might simply be that your kVolume isn´t catching all the particles that might be flying away too fast.
In your scene there are particles way off the area where you are simulating and outside that kVolume you have in there. So, simple scale that kVolume and resim. That would be my first test.
Hope it helps.

Hi, thank you for your help, I tried what you suggested, but no change. I don't see the relationship between the K_volume and the size of the mesh of the particles.
I am hitting a wall with this, I cant find any information or tutorial talking about this. Could you please point me to something.
Thank you.
Franck

Hi,
The kVolume will prevent particles going to the infinite and beyond if they explode getting a mad velocity. This could be causing memory issues and crashes, that is why it is always recommended to use this daemon.
If you provide the geometry, we might be able to run in the same conditions. The link you send doesn´t have the objects involved in the simulation.
Cheers,
