Dynamic texture mapping

Post by FilippS » Fri Apr 15, 2016 2:47 pm

Hi there, I have just started to use RealFlow to simulate Soft Body dynamics. After simulating a number of different soft bodies which are affected by a range of transformations, I have now started to render the resulting scenes (e.g., a cylinder that is being "twisted"). My question is whether there are ways to render the resulting object (e.g., the cylinder) with a material texture that "sticks" to the transformed object mesh. At the moment, it seems that when I render the objects in Maxwell (even when using appropriate UV maps), the mapping is done anew frame by frame. As a result, in the final "movie" of the transformation process, the texture is perceptually dissociated from the moving/transforming object. Is there a (probably obvious) solution to that problem? All the best!
