target shatter

hi.. guys..

im stuck on shatter effect.. i have success creating shatter effect by using steering geometry..

but the problem is.. i want to crack a skeleton.. that skeleton is hollow inside.. but when using the steering geometry, it crack the skeleton (success) but automatically create fills inside the skeleton and i dont want the fill.. only the crack at the skeleton..

can you help me through this... huhuh

Hey,

It sounds to me you are trying to shatter an object that has a single layer of polygons to make up its surface.

Have you tried adding some thickness so you have an outer thickness and hollow space inside.
