Video as backplate
Video as backplate
Hi all! I need to animate a spline to use it as an emitter. I have the path animated in C4D but I think is not possible import this path keeping the animation. The only way I found is to import the backplate in Realflow, create a spline emitter (using the backplate as a reference) and animate the points. Is it possible? Is there any other way? Thanks!

Hi,
You can't import animated splines to RealFlow. I would try to create a box per vertex in your 3d package, where each box would be linked to each animated vertex. Then, you can export the boxes and create a spline emitter. So, in this way, you can link each control point with animated boxes and you would have the same animation you had in your 3d package and with the possibility to emit from that spline.
