Information Display at upper left

I'm a newbie to RF5 and have a question that's probably obvious to the rest of you. What do the "V:xxxxxx" and "F:xxxxxx" numbers that appear in the upper left of the viewport tell you? Thanks

"V" is the number of vertices of a polygon object, "F" is the number of polygons also called faces.
