XY.gdc contains a grid fluid with a resolution that doesn't match the current one...

Interesting to know, but it was even more interesting to know which resolution XY.gdc does match after all so one could make some changes and probably get back the results of several hours of simulation.

That's a good one. As far as I remember giving the resolution in the gdc is not enough to make the gdc compatible with the current grid domain. Obviously the size of the domain should be taken into account when calculating the number of cells in each axis direction and if I remember well the size (scale) of the grid domain is not stored in the gdc files.

Anyway I will definiely have a look at this to find out if more information can be provided to be able to use the gdc with the current grid domain.

Thank you for letting us know.
