Hi, we've just come across a bug where the video preview window does not update.
we run a simple sim circle emitter,
run out 25 frames of cache
then go to preview menu -> video preview and the window pops up.
but the actual window is not udpated properly.. It seems to not be redrawing the openGL correctly at all.
you can see the timecode on the bottom right hand corner just getting mangled as if its not clearing the screen between updates.
regular preview writing out while simming works just fine.
this is in rf2012 on linux fedora 15 and our graphics cards are nvidia, quadro fx 1800's
using graphics drivers nvidia 275.09.07 (this one is nice and stable for maya and other packages, we've found)
has anybody else seen this issue before?
Realflow 2012 bug video preview not updating
Re: Realflow 2012 bug video preview not updating
Hi John,
Happy New Year!
Confirmed as a bug related to the Quadro cards I am afraid.
Just replicated here.
Trying to find the root of the problem.
Once we get to the bottom of this we will let you know, and this bug will be hopefully fixed for the next RF2012 patch.
Thanks for reporting it.
Apologies for the disruptions this may cause you.
