Inactive geometry slowing down scene?`

Hey,
there might be an issue with inactivated geometry objects slowing simulations down heavily. In my scene, there was an object originating from a relatively poor CAD Import (lots of faces, irregular geometry...).
I imported this into RF just because it was animated and I needed it as timing/ positioning reference and suddenly my simulations were slow as hell. These objects aren't linked to anything simulated, they are just in teh scene for reference, deactivated and (sometimes) invisible.
After deleting them from the scene (and changing nothing else), the sim went well again. In my opinion, deactivated elements shouldn't have any influence on simulations.
