Hybrido, RFRK and Maya

Hi guys,
Its me again
, I have been setting up a Maya scene where it involves a animated character measuring roughly around 3 meters by 4 meters, this was modelled to exact scale. after bringing it to Realflow using Hybrido, I imported it back to Maya and meshed it using rfrk all I see from my renders are tiny blotches of geometry. My second try was after baking my animation in maya I scaled the geometry down to 0.05 value and before importing it to realflow , it is only at these instances that I was able to get a better mesh in maya using rfrk. my questions are:
1. is there an exact setup, scale wise that I need to do in maya before I import my geometry to Realflow?
2. Is there an exact ratio formula with regards to the grid fluid's Resolution, maya's scale, and RFRK'(mesher) radius, Polygon size setting?
any information is greatly appreciated, I have just started learning Reaflow2012, Hybrido and RFRK in particular. and I have shopped around tutorials from here to digital tutors and the answers to the questions above seemed to elude me. I might be doing something wrong in my setup.
Thank you in advance.
