I have a scene where I have a ship moving through the water in RealWave.
I've added the RealWave Splash emitter which emits particles (dumb) at the start of the animation around the ship.
The particles are only emitted during the start of the animation when the ship initially interacts with the RealWave surface. After about 200 frames the particles die off and no more are emitted by the interaction between the ship and the RealWave surface even though the ship continues to move at the same steady pace.
I was expecting to see a steady stream of particles emitted at the bow of the ship as it moves through the surface.
I've tried adjusted several parameters to no effect.
How can I get the Splash emitter to continue to emit particles throughout the animation?
RealWave Splash Problem
Re: RealWave Splash Problem
Hi,
Have you checked if the max number of particles have been reached by any chance?
Do you have any daemons that might be killing those particles that you are expecting to see?
Send the scene to techdesk so we can check it out please.
Cheers,
g-)

Do you have any daemons that might be killing those particles that you are expecting to see? There is a volume daemon placed about 2m below the ocean surface to kill the stray particles pulled down by gravity
Send the scene to techdesk so we can check it out please. What's the address to send it to or should I attach to this post?

Re: RealWave Splash Problem
Hi,
You can access techdesk via the customer gateway.
https://portal.nextlimit.com/
That is correct way of sending scenes to our techdesk team, since it will get a ticket that we can track for future reference.
Thank you.

Re: RealWave Splash Problem
was this ever resolved? I have had the same problem
Also with the k-age daemon. I wanted it to kill particles after 45 frames from their emission. However what has happened is after 45 frames into the sequence, the particles are killed and no more emitted
